Anupam Kher ‘s masterful portrayal of Dr. Vijay Kapoor in ‘ New Amsterdam ‘ received a lot of love from fans. A series regular from the first season, Kher’s sudden exit baffled viewers and critics alike.
Working alongside Dr. Max (Ryan Eggold) and the rest of the team, the widower is precautious, calm and very understanding. In his personal life, Kapoor is harsh to his son Rohan (Vandit Bhatt). He does not realize that there is a rift between them and involves himself so much in the hospital that he fails to see how his son feels.
